About us

For those who struggle to take exercise alone such as walking, running or cycling there are fitness classes in the local community that offer both physical and social benefits.

Healthy Bones is one organisation that offers such options. The inclusive activity team lead physical activity and health related activities for people of varying ages and abilities throughout Barnsley, and are recommended by local medical professionals.

We are able to accommodate and recommend appropriate exercises specific to individuals and Bronia is a qualified Level 4 exercise specialist

Activities include posture stability/falls prevention for conditions such as arthritis, osteoporosis, Parkinsons, MS and those who have suffered a stroke. All exercises are tailored to the individual, and include options like movement to music, tai chi, chair based exercises suitable for people with dementia.
